Echiquier Foot vs Rugby

Table d’échiquier sur le thème foot/rugby, 7 essences de bois ont été utilisées, la table est composée de tilleul et noyer pour le pied, en cerisier pour la table, en orme et érable pour les carreaux du jeu et pour les pions de jeu en olivier et platane.

Les pièces ont été sculptées une par une de différents symboles soit du foot ou du rugby (exemple les pions en ballon rond pour le foot et ballon ovale pour le rugby).

Football vs rugby chessboard

Football/rugby themed chessboard . Seven types of wood were used: the table is made of linden and walnut for the base, cherry for the tabletop, elm and maple for the playing squares, and olive and sycamore for the pieces.

The pieces were individually carved whih different symbols from either football or rugby ( for example, the pieces are roundballs for football and oval ball for rugby).
